bear gets salmonVery few of us “City People” have much experience catching a fish; cleaning it; and cooking it just minutes or hours later.  When was the last time that you picked your fruits and vegetables from a tree or plant?  Have you ever used water for something and then cleaned it so that you could use it again?  I didn’t think so!  We buy dead things that come from somewhere else that were killed, cleaned, picked, or harvested and then shipped to the store and we don’t know how long it took to get from where it started from.

Now that information is busting out of the Internet about vitamins, minerals, proteins, and “Good” or “Bad” fats all of a sudden we CARE ABOUT OUR FOOD!

Then there is this little problem about WATER.  “There isn’t enough in the right places where we need it.”

Most of the earth (70% plus or minus a couple percent) is covered by water and most of that water is seawater and we can’t drink it.pick an orange

Most of us live in big cities where the water can’t drain into the ground because the ground is asphalt or concrete.

We pollute what we use and it has to go to expensive treatment facilities just to make it safe to throw it away properly.
